We’re back from Liverpool Sound City, and the Alya Records roster is busy.

After showing our Trans-Pennines based friends how it’s done over here, Fizzy Blood are set to play a sold out joint tour with Allusondrugs. After almost smashing the Tall Ship stage at Sound City to pieces, Fizzy Blood gave the festival headliners a run for their money, proving to Liverpool what we already knew: Fizzy Blood are fan-bloody-tastic. O Captain also brought the house down with a performance of their newest EP ‘Within & Without.’

I Set The Sea On Fire also tore the stage apart with a showcase of their incredible debut album ‘Sleep Now Suburbia‘, and are set to release yet another masterpiece of a music video on Friday the 3rd of June.

Deadset Dream have also been busy, recording their newest single ‘Snakes & Ladders’, set for release in late Summer. And from what we’ve heard, its definitely something to be excited about. In other news, Monoking and The Homesteads are set to both release singles this month, with support from the Alya team, and we are excited to be working with Four Authors on the release of their debut album.

Long Division Festival is fast approaching, with Fizzy Blood, I Set The Sea On Fire, Deadset Dream, O Captain, The Homesteads, Monoking and Habberdash all gearing up to bring Alya Records to Wakefield.

So as always, exciting and busy times for the Alya team. Keep your ears open.
