With the weather turning chilly and the onset of Winter reality TV, we can at least take solace in the arrival of some damn amazing new music this Autumn.
Wow… where do we start?
Alt Rock / Grunge monsters Fizzy Blood have recently dropped their newest single ANIMALS on Spotify, and iTunes for Pre orders before it’s release on the 25th of November. Already been called the best track they have ever written, Animals has punctuated the invasion of Europe by the band as they headed out on tour with JPNSGRLS across France, Germany, Italy and the rest of the continent. Coming home this week to a hero’s welcome, Fizzy Blood are set to support The Heavy at the London O2 Forum on the 23rd of November!
The Au Revoirs are also set to demolish some stages across London with the upcoming release of their single Speak Of Love, now streaming on Spotify. The official music video was featured on the NME on the 22nd of November in an interview with Au Revoirs singer Lucie’s brother Carl Barat of The Libertines. Read what he had to say here!
I Set The Sea On Fire have been busy with the coming drop of their new double A Side, Forever Diabolical, available on iTunes now for Pre order. The lead single Wrong Kind Of People is now streaming exclusively on the Alya Records – Volume II Spotify Playlist, so if you want to hear I Set The Sea On Fire get a little grungey one week earlier, here’s your chance! The band will also be heading down to The Black Heart in Camden with DEFDISCO on the 28th of November to play an exclusive showcase alongside Lupa and Sophie Longshaw!
Longtime Sheffield Music Industry mogul Eliot Kennedy has long been an advocate of Help For Heroes, releasing Jo Heselden’s debut single Hidden Wounds through Alya Records on the 11th of November in aid of the charity. Eliot and Gary Barlow played a private concert in aid of the charity, raising over £65,000 for veterans and families of those killed in war. Nice man.
